Elderberry Tonic Mix
This is a tonic I developed and drink daily from the Autumn Equinox to the Summer Solstice. I take a swig every day, but if you are sharing a jar, a 2 ounce shot glass is the daily dosage for preventative. If I have cold/flu symptoms I add tincture to help lessen severity of the symptoms.
Tincture available now in the Apothecary Shop.
Tonic mix is crafted with items that are foraged and gathered and then dehydrated. The tonic includes the following items, but any items can be removed due to allergy, sensitivity, or preference. Please add to the check out form anything you would like omitted.
Elderberries, orange slices, lemon slices, rose hips, hibiscus, ginger, all spice, cloves, and cinnamon.
This tonic is a delightful spiced blend that needs to be blended with water and local honey. Local honey is the best option if you are able to purchase. But, if you are unable to find local honey - any honey, sugar or stevia can be added for taste. Directions here.
The small bag makes enough for 2 pints and if taken daily will last for approximately 2 weeks.
The large bag makes enough for 2 quarts and if taken daily will last for approximately a month.
