Loose Incense Blends
This personal incense blend is crafted based on your unique intention or based on the moon phase on the day you order. When checking out, decide on your personal intention or if you’d like the Creatrix to develop your blend based on: the moon phase, weather, month, season & current planting sign.
The Owlery Creatrix will hand blend a personalized incense made just for you. Using resins, woods, herbs and dried plants to craft the perfect blend to achieve your intention or connect to the natural cycles of Appalachia.
When checking out, please fill form out completely to give the Creatrix all the information for your intention, including preferences or allergies. Or allow the season and phase of the moon to tailor your special blend.
Choose from:
Small - 1 use with 1 charcoal disc
Medium - 2 - 3 uses with 2 charcoal discs
Large - 3 - 5 uses with 3 charcoal discs
Each blend will include charcoal disc(s) to burn the incense upon.
How to use loose incense with a charcoal disc:
Pinch the disk between your fingers and light it from a lighter or from a candle. Allow it to spark for a few seconds and add to your fire-safe plate/bowl carefully. It is igniting charcoal, which means it will burn for up to an hour. It will get very hot, so make sure it is on a safe surface and not near anything flammable. Add a pinch or two of your incense. Continue to replenish the incense until disc is exhausted or you are finished. Ensure disc is free of flame, smoke, or spark. Dispose of ashes responsibly in either compost or sprinkle outside. Any remaining incense can be kept for future use or sprinkled outside. All Owlery incenses are crafted using natural items.
